Stade Français and Argentina prop Rodrigo Roncero has appealed the LNR Disciplinary Commissions's decision to give him a 30-day suspension, meaning he is eligible for selection for Saturday's Test against France in Marseilles.
Roncero was handed the ban for using his fists to settle a dispute with Toulouse flank Thierry Dusautoir in Stade Français's Round Eight defeat to the champions at the Stade de France three weeks ago.
The Parisian club have appealed the decision, no doubt to the ire of French fans as the veteran prop will now pack down against the French scrum, including Stade Français team-mate and les Bleus hooker Dimitri Szarzewski.
"The Club finds the sanction completely disproportionate and supports the player," read a statement form the French club.
