Woodcock: Cleared to face Wales

New Zealand prop Tony Woodcock has been cleared to play in Saturday's Test match against Wales at the Millennium Stadium.

Woodcock was cited for striking an opponent with his hand during the All Blacks' 22-3 victory over Ireland at Croke Park four days ago.

He admitted committing an act of foul play at a disciplinary hearing in Dublin, but International Rugby Board judicial officer Professor Lorne Crerar considered it did not warrant a red card and therefore no further sanction was appropriate.

Woodcock is now set to pack down for the third phase of New Zealand's potential grand slam tour, following comfortable victories over Scotland and Ireland.
