England flank Michael Lipman has been cited for allegedly stamping on an opponent during Saturday's Hillary Shield Test against New Zealand at Twickenham.

The Bath captain will face an International Rugby Board disciplinary hearing later this week after being reported by match citing officer, South African Andrew Prior.

The case will be heard by IRB-appointed judicial officer Professor Lorne Crerar.

Lipman is currently back with his club following England's autumn campaign, with Steve Meehan's side facing a busy month of vital back-to-back Heineken Cup clashes against Glasgow before domestic action reconvenes.
