Daniel Santamans: Died on Saturday

Former Toulouse hooker and coach, and former Romania national coach Daniel Santamans collapsed and died from a heart attack on Saturday at the age of 49 after attending his mother's funeral at the weekend in Cugneaux, France.

Santamans played in the Toulouse side that were champions of France in 1985 and 1986 and he was coach of the team that won again in 2001.

He was also head coach of the Romanian team that played in last year's World Cup in France, and was the Team Manager for France Pro D2 side Blagnac.
