Scotland A coach Rob Moffat has named a 27-man squad for the 2008 Churchill Cup, with one more player to be added at a later date.

Moffat's squad is a mix of youth and experience and features 19 uncapped players for the tournament in North America.

"We've got an exciting group of players," Moffat said.

"Although the average age of the squad is relatively young, I'm confident that the players are ready to take that next step up and contribute to a successful tour."

The squad will be captained by Glasgow Warriors hooker Fergus Thomson as they compete against England Saxons, Canada, USA, Ireland A and Argentina Pumas.
