Staying: Arscott has another three years with Bristol

Tom Arscott has signed a new three-year deal with Bristol.

The 20-year-old, who can play wing or full-back, joined the west country outfit last summer and has since forced his way into the first-team picture, making 19 appearances and scoring nine tries.

"Tom's emergence came as a very pleasant surprise for us last season," Head Coach Richard Hill said.

"He can be a big part of Bristol Rugby's future and we very much wanted him to commit his future to the club. We're delighted that he's done so."

Arscott was happy to have finally sorted his contract.

"I'm just really happy to get it all sorted so early on. Now I can really focus on the season ahead," he said.
