Key signing: Simms Davison will prop on with BoP

Bay of Plenty have retained the services of prop Simms Davison, fly-half Mike Delany, number eight Colin Bourke and openside flanker Tanerau Latimer to the end of the 2008 Air New Zealand Cup season.

Davison, Bourke and Latimer are all members of the Chiefs' Super 14 squad while Delany is with the Highlanders.

All four were key contributors to the Steamers in 2007 and bring over 150 games of experience to the team.

"All four players are exceptional people, who contribute both on and off the field," said Bay of Plenty coach Kevin Schuler.

"We are thrilled to have them confirm their commitment to the Bay to help lead us into the 2008 campaign,".
