In Demand: Nallet opts to honour contract

France captain Lionel Nallet has ended speculation and decided to remain with current club Castres for a further season.

The lock, who was rumoured to be in line for a move to Top 14 rivals Bourgoin at the conclusion of this campaign, has opted to honour his contract at the league's sixth-placed side.

"It is true that my intention was to return to Bourgoin for family reasons, but I must also take into account that Castres wanted me to stay," said Nallet, speaking to the club's website.

"The situation had to be clarified and now it is done. It is very important for the club and I am very happy.

"I am going to carry on my career with Castres and even extend it, and I do it with the wish that I help them play a leading competitive role.
