Justin Marshall: Off to France?

A report in France on Wednesday said that Ospreys scrum-half Justin Marshall has signed for Montpellier on a one-year contract, with an option to extend by a year.

Marshall, who turns 35 next month, will spearhead Montpellier's push for Heineken Cup qualification in the coming season and provide a useful alternative to the promising Julien Tomas, and the year extension is likely to be fulfilled only if the Héraults do qualify.

The Ospreys are, however, yet to confirm the move.

Joining Marshall on France's south coast is current Currie Cup Falcons full-back Jacques Schutte, signed ostensibly for his talent with the tee, and promising 23-year-old Béziers fly-half Santiago Bottini.
